“ The Emergence of Oriental Spoken Language Corpora: Towards Innovative Strategy and Technology”.

Oriental COCOSDA workshop in Malaysia will assist in boosting the research and development in the field of Speech Technology through exchanging ideas, sharing of information and discussing regional matters on creation, utilization, dissemination of spoken oriental language corpora and also the assessment methods of speech recognition/synthesis systems. Crucially, the workshop aims to promote speech research on oriental languages with a focus on Malay/Indonesian languages.
