Though
there are several journal focusing on medicine use problems,
they are mainly focused on the issues related to the
developed world. The medicine use problems in developing
countries are unique and are greatly different from the
developed countries. The areas of priority research among
the developing and developed countries differ significantly.
The
Discipline of Social and Administrative Pharmacy at the
School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia

Malaysia is committed in promoting research in medicine use
problems in developing countries. Starting a journal
focusing on medicine use issues in developing countries is
one of the new initiatives by the discipline to promote
rational use of medicines and sustainable health in

The journal aims to provide a strong platform for the
researchers from the developing countries to publish their
research findings.
