ASSOC. PROF. LATIF KAMALUDDIN considers himself an "academic outcast" ...he has dabbled in many areas of engagement, ranging from the mundane to the surreal.. He is currentlly working on a project that attempts to deconstruct heritage conservation within the framework of transpersonal phenomenology. His seminar on gender will readdress the reality of (trans) genderism by placing it within the context of a certain hermeneutical phenomenology, before dispensing this as irrelevant. His anchor shall be the Buddhist Doctrine of Dependent Origination.
