Postgraduate Studies
If you already have a first degree and hope to further your studies, USM offers post-graduate degrees at Master’s and Doctorate levels.
Those who wish to apply for the Master’s Programme must already have a first degree with a good academic record, from a recognized university and with qualifications that are acceptable and acknowledged by the USM Senate. However, candidates who do not have the above qualifications can still be considered if they have suitable qualifications and experience in the field of research.
Applicants for the Ph.D Programme should have a Master’s degree that is recognized as well as qualifications that are acceptable and acknowledged by the USM Senate. In Special cases, the Senate may approve the candidature of first degree holders who have shown excellent academic performance into the Doctoral Programme.
