VC EXTENDS RAMADHAN AL-MUBARAK GREETINGS

The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Prof. Dato' Omar Osman and his wife, Datin Noraizan Jamaludin, wishes all University staff and the public a peaceful and blessed Ramadan.

“I hope this Ramadan will give us an opportunity for self-reflection and doing deeds in the name of Allah,'' he said.

He added that this holy month should enable the University community to strengthen its efforts in realising the achievements as well as in strengthening the existing camaraderie spirit.

"Ramadan should not be taken as a reason for us to reduce the routine activities and the development of knowledge but rather to make us stronger and more energetic to realise our achievements and excellence," added the Vice-Chancellor.
