PENANG, 23rd Dec -The Universiti Sains Malaysia, an APEX status university is extending its wing to Kuala Lumpur with its latest postgraduate programme, Master of Communication (Integrated Marketing Communication).
The new post-graduate programme that marks the USM’s first strategic venture in the evolving world of higher education in the Klang Valley, will commence from Wisma Sejarah, Jalan Tun Razak. The latest move is initiated as part of the university’s long-term commitment in providing the best quality and research-oriented curriculum.
In line with its aspiration of transforming higher education for a sustainable tomorrow, the new programme is specifically designed to produce both media practitioner and media strategist who can navigate effectively between the analytical and creative challenges of IMC and the rigours of both persuasive communication and marketing. Students in this programme will master the principles of IMC and develop skills and knowledge that will allow them to strategically integrate various communication functions such as advertising, public relations, Internet marketing and sales promotion towards developing consumer-centric, result-oriented marketing communication solutions.
This programme provides an excellent platform and training towards a professional career as a media specialist, senior marketing executive, sales and promotion manager, public relations consultant, corporate communication expert and senior media planner.
