Welcome to the Malaysian Journal of Medical Sciences (print ISSN 13-94-195X; e-ISSN 1985-840X)

The Malaysian Journal of Medical Sciences (MJMS) is a peer-reviewed open-access online journal, published 4 times a year. The journal’s scope encompasses biomedical, allied health and clinical sciences.

MJMS was formerly known as Diagnosa, first published in 1987 by the School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Since then, Diagnosa has progressed from being an internal publication to being recognised as a national medical journal. MJMS has then become international since indexed in several databases namely SCOPUS, Elsevier Bibliographic Databases, Bioline International, EBSCO, DOAJ, Index Copernicus and MyAIS.

MJMS publishes original articles, review articles, brief communications, special communications and case reports.

Please note that due to the strict criteria rejection rate is 67% (September 2009 audit).
