USM Engineering Campus: Located in Transkrian, Nibong Tebal, on mainland  Penang, it offers various Engineering courses. Its site provides a peaceful and calm surrounding, for maximised quality learning ambience within a nature- friendly environment. This prominence and uniqueness is highlighted by the design and layout of the building and its landscape which is modern and futuristic. The existence of this campus is more significant because it is the only institution of higher learning (IPT) available in this area, which is still regarded as a rural area.
